About the Introductory Course
The Agon Shu's Introductory Course is given to provide insight into the basic teachings of Agon Shu Buddhism. Such teachings are indispensable for understanding the main discipline, the intricate teachings, and the mission of Agon Shu Buddhism.
For this reason, taking this class is strongly encouraged for anyone who is considering beginning the Gedatsu Hoshogyo Practice (the Official Agon Shu Buddhist Practice) or has started the practice.
Lesson
The lesson will focus on the fundamental mindset demanded of every Buddhist practitioner in their daily life, the absence of which would render any spiritual practice completely pointless. Despite the necessity of these teachings, they are also the hardest to put into practice and be mindful of due to our flawed inner nature.
